Joshua Bell, a senior at Templeton High in California, won his third consecutive Division 3 boys title at the Central Section Championships by covering the 5-kilometer layout in 15:12.70 for the fastest time ever achieved in the division in section finals history at Woodward Park in Fresno, Calif. Bell, who produced the top time at the meet across all five divisions, helped Templeton finish fourth as a team with 131 points, advancing to race Nov. 25 at the CIF State Cross Country Championships at Woodward Park.
